Christmas Shopping

I have to admit that I was totally relived when my Mom told me we would be doing an "un-secret santa" with the family this year. My parents have been totally out of the Christmas spirit for years (as in no gifts or decorating) and we usually do a serious exchange with Bear's family. We won't spending time with his family this year, due to lack of vacation, so we will be having a paired down holiday with my family. We have six family members, and we will have to get one person gifts, with a $50 limit plus stocking stuffers. We will still have to send gifts (probably just giftcards) to Bear's family, and I hate to do that, but shipping can cost as much as the gift. Maybe I will suggest an "un-secret santa"......that would rock!

Start O' the Blog

I am starting this blog in order to discuss finance and consumerism and how it impacts my life. I hope to educate a little, learn a lot, and share my personal experiences on these topics. I will also be chatting about how to stay FABULOUS while on a budget. My other interests are my health....how to stay mentally and physically healthly. I am currently on weight watchers, so I will keep up with how I am doing on the program.
